We want the best level of care for the people you support, so we offer the highest level of accredited training. Our trainers have more than 30 years of combined experience in health and social care, and we train at our Radnor Court hub in Canton and at clients’ venues across Wales.

Meet the trainers
Paul Knight
Training Operations Manager & Physical Interventions Lead
Twelve years in HM Armed Forces and eighteen in HM Prison Service, including training new officers. Accredited trainer with the Institute of Conflict Management and BILD, with a Level 4 teaching qualification in physical interventions.
Paula Krawiec
Training Facilitator & Wellbeing Champion
Over ten years of clinical experience as a support worker and assistant psychologist, and nine years teaching. BSc, MSc and PhD in psychology. Bilingual, and an accredited ICM and BILD trainer.
Wayne Thompson
Health & Social Care Training Facilitator
Twenty years in social care, specialising in mental health. Accredited NVQ assessor and IOSH-qualified manual handling trainer who specialises in the All Wales Manual Handling Passport.

All our PMVA syllabus options are ICM accredited, with techniques reviewed by independent medical experts.
BILD ACT / Restraint Reduction Network
Certified to RRN standards. Championing human rights is at the heart of our work.
IOSH
Safer People Handling courses follow the All Wales Passport guidelines, taught by IOSH-qualified trainers.
Association of Healthcare Trainers
Our trainers and syllabus are registered with the AoHT and follow its Code of Ethics.
Education and Training
Every trainer holds a Level 3 Award in Education and Training and is registered with the Education Workforce Council.
